Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2026

SEO Migrator is built to help SEOs and web developers run site migrations. We take your privacy seriously and try to collect as little data as possible.

What we collect

  • URLs you submit. When you use the URL Mapping tool, your URLs are processed entirely in your browser and never sent to our servers.
  • URLs you submit to Content Analysis or the Redirect Checker. These tools fetch the public HTML of those URLs from our server so we can compare or follow redirects. We do not store the URLs, the fetched HTML, or the results after your request completes.
  • Standard server logs. Like most web services, our hosting provider records basic request metadata (IP address, timestamp, user agent, requested path) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are retained for a limited period.

What we do not collect

  • We do not require an account or signup to use the tools.
  • We do not sell or share your URLs or results with third parties.
  • We do not use third-party advertising trackers, fingerprinting, or behavioural analytics.

Server-side scraping

Content Analysis and the Redirect Checker make HTTP requests from our servers to URLs you provide. We block requests to private, internal, or loopback addresses to prevent misuse. The fetched content is only used to compute the response we return to you and is discarded immediately after.

Cookies

SEO Migrator does not set tracking cookies. A session cookie may be used for security headers and CSRF protection on form submissions, but it does not track you across sites.

Your rights

Because we do not store the URLs you submit or any user account data, there is no personal profile to access, export, or delete on our side. If you have questions about server logs or anything else in this policy, please contact us through SearchMinistry Media.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page along with an updated date at the top.
